Jaroslaw Nadrzycki - was born and began his musical education in Zagan. He is a graduate of the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznan in the class of Prof. Jadwiga Kaliszewska, as well as a graduate of the Mozarteum University in Salzburg in the class of Prof. Igor Ozim and the Royal Academy of Music in London in the class of Prof. Igor Petrushevsky.

Yaroslav Nadrzycki is a winner of many international violin competitions, including the Aram Khachaturian Competition in Yerevan, the G. Enescu Competition in Bucharest, the Max Rostal Competition in Berlin, the Jasha Heifetz Competition in Vilnius, the "Valsesia Musica" Competition in Varallo. , and the Haverhill Sinfonia Soloist Competition in the UK. He was also a laureate of the Tibor Varga Competition in Martigny (Switzerland), the Benjamin Britten Competition in London and the Henryk Wieniawski Competition in Poznan.

At the age of 12, he made his debut performing Pablo Sarasate's "Carmen" Fantasia with the Moscow Conservatory Orchestra at the Great Hall of the Pyotr Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. A breakthrough in his career was the 2010 performance of Krzysztof Penderecki's Violin Concerto No. 2 "Metamorphosen" with the Simon Bolivar Orchestra of Venezuela, conducted by the composer. In addition to his solo activities, he was also primarius of the esteemed Meccore String Quartet (2013-2018) and, since 2018, a founding member of the Boarte Piano Trio. That same year, the Orphée Classics record label released a CD of works by Johanes Brahms for violin and piano as the result of a long-standing collaboration with pianist Joanna Zathey.

 

Jaroslaw Nadrzycki has performed with leading orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the MDR Sinfonieorchester, the Simon Bolivar Orchestra of Venezuela, the George Enescu Philharmonic, the State of Mexico Symphony Orchestra, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, the "Amadeus" Polish Radio Chamber Orchestra and the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice under such conductors as M. Caldi, A. Duczmal, G. Guerrero, K. Järvi, K. Penderecki, H. Sensoy, S. Smbatyan and M. Vengerov. He has performed many times at the Wigmore Hall in London, the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, the Ateneum in Bucharest, the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Arts Center in Izmir, Bozar in Brussels and Pollack Hall in Montreal.

The artist's credits include recordings for Hänssler Classic, DUX, Warner Music Poland and MDG Classics, as well as many radio and television recordings, including: for Bayerischer Rundfunk, BBC Radio 3, ZDF, TV ORF Austria and TVP Kultura.

In 2016, Jaroslaw Nadrzycki began working as an assistant at the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznan. He was also a guest lecturer at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Cultural Centre in Kuwait (2019-20).
