Marianna Julia Zolnacz began studying the flute at the age of 7 at ZPSM No. 4. K. Szymanowski in Warsaw, in the class of Professor Maria Peradzyńska-Filip. Since 2015, she has been a student at the University of Music 'Mozarteum' in Salzburg in the class of Professor Michael Martin Kofler. Since 2020, she has also been studying at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the classes of Prof. Maria Peradzyńska-Filip and Prof. Urszula Janik.She has won more than 50 national and international competitions, including eight Grand Prix awards. Her achievements include: The Carl Nielsen International Competition 2019 - Odense, Denmark 2019 (Second Prize), The Guangzhou International Flute Competition (Nicolet Flute Competition) - Guangzhou, China 2018 (First Prize), The 9th Kobe International Flute Competition - Kobe, Japan 2017 (Third Prize) , Sir James Galway "Rising Star 2018" Award. and 14K Gold Nagahara heads at the Galway Flute Festival- Weggis, Switzerland 2018, Winner of the 2017 Coryphaeus of Polish Music Award in the Debut of the Year category. As a soloist, she has performed many flute concerts with orchestras at home and abroad, such as the National Philharmonic Orchestra, Slovak National Philharmonic Orchestra in Košice, Podlasie Philharmonic Orchestra in Bialystok, Lodz Philharmonic Orchestra, Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra, Kobe Ensemble, Copenhagen Philharmonic, Kobe City Chamber Orchestra, Polish Radio Orchestra. She has worked under the baton of many talented conductors, including Michał Dworzyński, Marzena Diakun, Paweł Kapuła, Felix Mildenberger, Hiroshi Sekiya, Anna Skryleva, Mirosław Jacek Błaszczyk, Łukasz Borowicz, Michał Klauza, Rafał Delekta, Maciej Kotarba, Tadahiro Yano, Gergely Menesi, Mirko Krajci. She has honed her skills with many outstanding flutists, such as Sir James Galway, Marina Piccinini, Ursula Janik, Philippe Bernold, Kersten Mccall, Christina Fassbender, Elżbieta Gajewska, Philippe Benoit, Hansgeorg Schmeiser, Łukasz Długosz, Carlo Jans, Anne-Caterine Heinzmann , Antoni Wierzbinski, Pierre-Yves Artaud, Dejan Gavric, Andrea Oliva.
