Radoslaw Sobczak was born in 1981 in Pisz. In 2006 he graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, in the piano class of Prof. Edward Wolanin, and the chamber music class of Prof. Maciej Paderewski. He supplemented his musical studies with Prof. Victor Macarov. He is a laureate of the 2nd prize of the 1st European Piano Competition "Halina Czerny- Stefanska in memoriam" in Poznan (2008). He was awarded at the 14th F Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2000, receiving the title of "Best Pole of the Competition" and many non-statutory prizes; including a Yamaha piano from the Prof. Regina Smedzianka Foundation and a scholarship from the " Crescendum est Polonia" Foundation. He has performed in many Polish philharmonics and participated in numerous Polish and foreign festivals, such as : Chopin Festival "Settimane Musica li Bresciane-Genio e malinconia" in Italy, Piano Festival in Kitzingen (Germany) , Polish Piano Festival in Slupsk and Polish Music Festival in Gyor ( Hungary), Krakow Piano Summer, Czarnoleski Festival of Arts, Beethoven Festival in Glogowek, Szymanowski Days in Zakopane Festival, Chopin Festival in Antonin, Paderewski Days in New York.

In 2002 he played seven recitals in China at the invitation of the Shanghai Concert Hall. He performed in 2003 in a concert for European parliamentarians in Strasbourg on the occasion of Poland's entry into the European Union. He is the first Polish pianist to perform in Muscat( Oman) at the invitation of the Polish Embassy in Riyadh, the concert was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in 2010. In addition to Poland, he has given concerts in such countries as ; Germany, France, Spain, Czech Republic, Italy, Russia, Switzerland, Ukraine, Israel, Palestine , Saudi Arabia, Australia, Korea, China and the USA. In 2013, his CD with three Beethoven sonatas was released, the next one "The Spirit" with works by various composers recorded during recitals, both released by the "Cultura Animi" Foundation.  In June 2018, in cooperation with the DUX label, he released two solo CDs of Polish music ; the first with solo works by Ignacy Jan Paderewski, the second with compositions by Karol Szymanowski. In the same year, the Senate of the Republic of Poland, in cooperation with Polish Radio, included his recording of Paderewski's Sonata in its project ; CD - The Senate of the Republic of Poland in the Centennial of Regaining Independence. Also in 2018, he recorded a set of piano etudes by Marcin Tadeusz Łukaszewski for the DUX label, a world phonographic premiere. He has twice been nominated for the prestigious Music Award "Fryderyk"-in 2019 for the album "Paderewski", in 2020 for the album "Lukaszewski". In November 2019, he performed a memorable recital at Lincoln Center in New York ( Bruno Walter Auditorium) with sonatas by Paderewski and Szymanowski. He is currently in the middle of a recording project - "Musical Mystery" by composer-composer Piotr Pietkiewicz, which includes three separate piano cycles - "Monology", "World of Gravitons" and "Epiphony". He is a member of the Theodor Leschetizky Music Society in Warsaw. In 2010-2012, he was a Professor at Chopin- Keimyung University in Daegu, Korea. South. From 2012 to 2018, he was a lecturer at the F. Chopin University of Music . F. Chopin in Warsaw, and since 2012 he has also been a piano teacher at Karol Szymanowski Music School Complex No. 4 in Warsaw. As of 2018 works with Chengdu extraordinary music company in China.
